Linkin Park Rocks NBC’s SNL

Linkin Park lived up to their reputation for giving great live performances as they took the stage on NBC’s famous Saturday Night Live television show. The band used video and scanned laser beams (controlled with Pangolin LD2000 systems), along with imagery being displayed on their bodies to incorporate special effects in an artistic way never before seen.

Laser Design Productions came up with a creative concept illustration and video demos to present to Tour Manager Jim Digby. Operation Manager Victor Tomei worked with Laser Programmer Jason McEachern to create the effects using two full color OPS laser systems all powered by Pangolin. There was a clear understanding of the safety elements to the band members who followed specific instructions and wore specific laser safety glasses during their performance.
