LRobert Teorey and the folks at Lasertainment have years of experience performing laser shows for corporate clients, festivals, nightclubs, and many other types of applications. So when huge corporate client Caterpillar wanted to celebrate the opening of their new manufacturing plant in North Carolina, and add that “WOW” factor to the event, they knew just who to call…

To make the opening ceremony something truly special, the team at Lasertainment used three 18 watt RGB laser systems to display the famous “CAT” logo, and also incorporated arial beam effects to the mix, for some added fun. The graphic system was placed in the bucket of one of the Caterpillar Skid Loaders, which proved to be a truly novel way of “mounting” a projector. All lasers were controlled using Pangolin and the computer with a Pangolin QM2000 controlling the show was also placed on top of the Skid loader. Each aerial beam system had a FB3-SE card running it, controlled via DMX”
