Here is a list of additions and updates to Pangolin.com, made during 2009. Important or extensive changes are listed in boldface.

June 2009

• Pangolin sweeps the ILDA Awards again! This year more than half of the ILDA Awards for Artistic Achievement were given to Pangolin users. Pangolin users did well in all categories but were particularly strong in Beams/Atmospherics, Graphics show, and Live Stage Performance. In the Beams and Atmospherics category, Pangolin users won three-out-of-four awards and in the Live Stage Performance category, Pangolin users won four-out-of-five awards. Congratulations to everyone who won an ILDA Award this year.

• Updated the Award-winning products web page to include the information mentioned above and also to reflect the fact that LASORB has won an ILDA Technical Achievement Award for 2009. We are very pleased with this award since there were 14 technical entries for the ILDA Awards this year. LASORB won a Technical Achievement Award even though it isn't exclusively a product for entertainment display applications.

May 2009

• Added information about the 2009 Pangolin User Meeting, being held in conjunction with the 2009 ILDA meeting near Amsterdam. Please pre-register if you will be attending the meeting.

• Come see us at the PALM Expo China in Beijing, May 28 - 31, Hall 1, Booth 2B068.

• Announcing a new Centaur DMX Laser Controller made by Laser Technology Limited. This is a desk-style controller made for the FB3.

March 2009

• The latest versions of LiveQUICK and LivePRO for the FB3 are now available in the Downloads section of our web site. These versions also work with NEO-LASER hardware.
   

• Come see us at Prolight & Sound in Frankfurt, April 1 - 4, Hall 8.0; Booth E-62.

• Added a Japanese Language PDF version of the Projector Connections article. The Japanese version was prepared by the professional language translation service http://www.mauitranslations.com, and was graciously orchestrated by Mr. Tsunemi KOGA of Random West http://www.randomwest.co.jp.

February 2009

• Added an article on Projector Connections. This article explains how to put the various pieces together to build a laser projector. This article was featured in the Summer 2008 edition of The Laserist magazine.

• Added a Chinese Language version of the Projector Connections article.
