Here is a list of additions and updates to Pangolin.com, made during 2008. Important or extensive changes are
listed in boldface.

September 2008

Added a report on the
2008 Pangolin
User Meeting, and the results of the
2008 Pangolin Prize
competition. This year's meeting was great, and one of the many
results is that Pangolin users will be receiving three of the winning
shows as part of the LD2000 version 5.0 release.

Added a new Powered by
Pangolin page, designed to showcase some of the great work being
done by clients using Pangolin software and hardware. If you would like
us to showcase your work, please contact us and send a picture and
information about the show, venue, or event.

Added
information about the 2008 Pangolin User Meeting, being held in
conjunction with the 2008 ILDA meeting on board the Carnival Imagination
cruse ship. The new information includes the rules and
entry form for the $1750 Pangolin Prize competition which is also
presented and judged at the Pangolin User Meeting. Note: The deadline for
Pangolin Prize entries is Friday, September 5, 2008.

The Chinese, German, Portuguese and Spanish
versions of LD2000 4.50 are now available for download.
They can be downloaded from our
Updates page.

Lasershow Converter MAX is now
available for 3ds Max 2009 (also known as MAX 10). If you are a
Lasershow Converter MAX user who has this version of 3ds Max and you
would like to receive the plug-in, please
contact Pangolin to obtain
this new version.

Announcing a Pangolin Training and User Meeting
that will take place in Guangzhou China, June 2 and June 3.

The long-awaited LD2000 version 4.50 web-update is
finally here! It can be downloaded from our
Updates page.
Note that only
the executable programs are included in this update. Frames and Shows
are not included as part of the update due to size constraints. (The
complete LD2000 version 4.50 installation would be nearly 2GB!) If you
are interested in having the latest frames and shows, we recommend you
purchase an Installation CD/DVD set.

Updated the Awards page to
reflect the 2007 ILDA Award Winners (judged and awarded in 2008).
This year, Pangolin users have won around two-out-of-three ILDA
Awards -- more than in any previous year. We would like to
congratulate everyone who won an ILDA Award this year, as well as
everyone else doing excellent work with Pangolin software and hardware!
