Quickshow without pc connected

Is it possible to download a show into the HW interface, and then have it run a show without being connected to a PC?

QuickShow itself does not do this. However, for the FB3XE and FB3SE (those Flashback 3 that have a removable memory module), you can use the free LiveQUICK software which allows you to create simple content (or import existing content in Pangolin or ILDA format) and then download it to the memory card. You can even designate one or more cues to play once power is applied to the FB3.

LiveQUICK is normally on all of the CDs we ship along with the FB3 (for QuickShow users, you will find this in the "Legacy software" folder of the install CD) and it can also be downloaded here:
